Another great summer of cruising - Guest reviews 2018

With the summer 2017/18 season done and dusted, it’s a great time to reflect on some of the highlights. Whether it was a fully planned itinerary, or self-guided group, our riders had a blast and wanted to share some of their experiences.

It’s only a few short months until the next season, and if 17/18 was anything to go by, this will be one to remember!

It may seem hard to believe but this vacation was all we asked for, and so much more. Our first 10 days , in a car, was highlighted by fantastic scenery and outstanding lodging which left us breathless. The North Island has so many charms that we were blown away. Great places to see, great places to eat and most importantly - great people. None better than the people we entrusted our dream to, Ali and Baz from Bularangi Motorbikes.

When we got our bike, a 2018 Road King, we were so charged up. I could hardly sleep. Baz’ guidance and advice was priceless. His knowledge of the roads and country put us at total ease. The lodging reservations made by Ali were fantastic and exemplified her knowledge of the island, and understanding of our vacation desires.

Realistic travel time tables, giving us plenty of time to “stop and smell the flowers” allowed us to produce photos and go pro videos which were the talk of all our friends.

If you ever wondered what it is like to take a motorcycling vacation, having total confidence in the people who are listening to your dreams, then Bularangi is the only place to go. Thanks Ali and Baz! You guys rock!

Seven days in Harley Heaven in the South Island is difficult to describe. Our second visit in as many years with Bularangi treating me to the best opportunity on a brand-new Milwaukee 8 Street Glide. Ali worked hard to make it happen as I’d pestered her for twelve months that it had to be a Milwaukee 8.

Booking and pick up was smooth as we wanted an early start the next day. We scooted out to Mt Cook, down to Invercargill, Queenstown, Franz Josef to Hanmer Springs fitting in numerous stops eating cheese rolls, Fat B***ard pies, dipping in the hot spas and drinking lots of local brews. Our last day was a quick blast up and back through Lewis Pass with the overall experience fantastic.

Drop off went without a hitch with 2300km in seven days. I had definitely gone to Harley Heaven. There was everything to like about the experience.

Just finished a 21-day cruise of north and south island New Zealand riding a Heritage Softail supplied by Bularangi Motorcycle Tours. All our accommodation was pre-booked so just a matter of packing up the bike and getting on the road.

New Zealand is a must see! It is a beautiful country with outstanding scenery and very friendly people - just like Baz and Ali from Bularangi Motorcycle Tours who provided us with info on scenic routes and activities on the tour.

Don’t waste your time dreaming about touring New Zealand go and get organized and get going and with Baz and Ali on your side I can guarantee a great time. We were very happy with everything!
