Day 1 - We rode Christchurch to Mt Cook - 370kms with 10 bikes.
Day 2 - We rode Aoraki (Mt Cook) to Dunedin - 340kms it was a very cold and wet day as we rode out of the valley into the Mackenzie basin and Wairakei valley, we had some relief in the weather at Aviemore dam but wet boots from there in.
Day 3 - We had a nice day of riding through the beautiful west Otago on our way to Gore and then to Te Anau and took the long way home.
Day 4 - We rode Te Anau to Queenstown 180kms. It was concrete coloured skies again as we took a short 180km ride to Queenstown.
Day 5 - We had a day off in Queenstown to explore and have a rest.
Day 6 - We rode Queenstown to Franz Josef - 408kms - through the Gates of Haast, probably the best ride in NZ in most people’s minds, mine included it’s up there with the Coromandel Loop, a great variety of riding to spectacular views.
Day 7 - We rode Franz Josef to Punakaiki - 236kms - It was a short ride today, but a spectacular ride all the same, the rode along the Whataroa river and the west coast leading up to Punakaiki was awesome.
Day 8 - We rode Punakaiki to Christchurch - 290kms - We enjoyed riding into Harley heaven through Arthur’s Pass
