Day 1 Queenstown to Te Anau
350 kilometres / 217 miles
We start the day off today by heading first heading north to see the beauty of the towns of Arrowtown and Wanaka before winding back to Queenstown through the Kawarau Gorge. We then start the journey out to Te Anau heading south along the shores of Lake Wakatipu we ride south along the southern scenic route before heading north through this amazing region towards Te Anau, the gateway to the Fiordland National Park. It is here that we will be staying tonight on the shores of Lake Te Anau. 
Day 2 Te Anau to Milford Sound and Return
243 kilometres / 145 miles
Today we head off to Milford Sound - it is the same road in and out including a one kilometre one way tunnel. The ride has stunning mountains, glaciers, native bush and snow clad mountain tips. Once at Milford Sound you take a 2 hour boat cruise out onto the Sound for those that wish, which is a truly spectacular cruise. We then head back for another night on the shores of the lake at Te Anau. In the morning we do the short ride back to Queenstown (167 kms) to end your tour by lunchtime tomorrow.
Day 3 Queenstown from Te Anau
368 kilometres / 229 miles
Today we take the long ride home to Queenstown going through the lush farmlands of Southland and West Otago, before heading north at Gore. Just north of Gore is a bi-plane museum that is worth a stop, before we continue our journey across the Moa Flat and then along the banks of the Clutha River and through the fruit lands of Central Otago, a stunning ride. We then head back through Pinot Noir country to Queenstown!
