Cruise by Harley Davidson to Hanmer Springs and Lewis Pass
341 kilometres / 213 miles
A wonderful day of riding the Harleys as we leave Christchurch behind and head up through the Waipara Valley wine region, before cutting inland to take us towards the beautiful alpine resort of Hanmer Springs, famed for its Thermal Park, where a soak is obligatory. Time permitting, we then head on up into the glorious beauty of the Lewis Pass - a stunning ride through a Southern Alps mountain pass, before turning the Harleys back and heading home. We take a different route home that gives us a beautiful ride down the coastal ride north of Christchurch.
