Cruise to Akaroa by Harley Davidson

We start the day with a cruise out to the suburbs of Christchurch to the west of the city with the majestic might of the Southern Alps rising in the distance, and we then turn and head towards the Akaroa Peninsula -just 75 kilometres from the city of Christchurch, Akaroa is a historic French and British settlement nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano. We will have time to take lunch and explore the village with its colonial architecture, galleries, craft stores, and cafés. Further exploration of the dramatic outer bays after lunch before we head back to Christchurch taking a different route home, via Lyttleton and the beautiful beach suburbs in Sumner Bay.
